Taking customer service to a new high

Taking customer service to a new high

Having enjoyed a good first Christmas season, I put a lot of thought into new product ranges for 2025. Interestingly I found that so far the products which sell at craft fairs tend to be very different from the ones that sell best online and this is something to watch and explore further.

I have also thought a lot about my brand identity, product packaging and marketing strategies and decided that all of these areas would benefit from improvement and that will be one of my priorities for this year.

The good news is that I have received a lot of positive feedback for my customer service and I had the opportunity to elevate this further when faced with a recent urgent enquiry from a new customer. Luckily, the enquiry coincided with a good weather window and I decided to combine the necessary with the enjoyable and deliver the customer order myself - by air.

I am a private pilot and my passion is flying my light aircraft in my spare time. On this occasion, rather than sending the order via a courier or Royal Mail, I loaded it into the aircraft and delivered it 70 minutes later to a very happy customer.

I enjoyed a lovely flight on a beautiful sunny day and made a customer very happy. A most satisfying day!
