Balms

Our Lip Balms contain only natural soothing ingredients: organic food grade waxes, refined shea butter, organic oils and are very lightly scented with essential oils, or  cosmetic flavours. They are presented in aluminium tins in sizes of 20 ml, 15 ml, 10 ml or 5 ml.

Our lip balms are free from any harmful additives and the natural ingredients provide relief without compromising the delicate balance of lip hydration via a gentler, more skin-friendly product with excellent moisturising qualities.

Beeswax is an excellent natural component in lip balms because it forms a protective shield on the lips, locking in moisture and helping to prevent dehydration via trans epidermal water loss. The waxy substance acts as both an occlusive to bolster the water barrier and a natural humectant to attract water to the lips and help them stay hydrated. Beeswax is a nontoxic, non-irritating, all natural alternative to petroleum jelly that fosters hydration and nourishment.

Candelilla wax is a vegetable alternative to beeswax with similar properties.

Natural oils are known for their exceptional benefits in promoting healthy and radiant skin. Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and nutrients that work wonders for the skin. Because of its strong nutrient profiles, natural oils strengthen the skin barrier while hydrating the skin. All of this helps prevent skin aging and maintain overall skin health.

We are now also offering a Dog Paw & Nose Balm which uses the same high quality, natural ingredients as are used in our lip balms. In fact the inspiration for producing a dog paw and nose balm came about when a customer told us that they had used one of our lip balms on her dog's dry and crusty nose with excellent results.

Our hand crfted balm is totally fragrance free, lick safe and ideal to use on dogs' sensitive noses. It is available in a 30 ml amber glass jar.
